Arrival 

Our team will arrange for visiting students to be picked up from the airport. Please email xplorestudyinternational@gmail.com with the flight information in order to use this service.

Payment of Fees 
All students are expected to pay their fees in full prior to registration to XSI. Proof of payment of fees is a requirement for registration at the university which will be done by XSI Team.

Accommodation 
•    Housing will be provided at the university’s International Students Hostel.

•  Beds, desks, chairs, and closets are provided in each room.

Orientation 
An orientation session that is required for visiting international students will be arranged by the university’s international programs office. Health, security, housing, immigration, university policies, course registration, and security will all be covered during the orientation. Next on the schedule is a tour of the campus.

Requirements for registration
➢    Proof of medical insurance  
➢    One passport sized photograph  

Teaching / Examination  

•  Students with special needs should note that they are to send the necessary medical documentation to the XPS Director via her email address: ( xplorestudyinternational@gmail.com). This should be done latest by two weeks after arrival on campus.

Non- Citizen Ghana Card 
•    Please note that all eligible foreign nationals living in Ghana are required by law to register and have a Non-Citizen Card.

•  The non-Citizen Card is a national identity card for internationals which costs US$120 for the first issue for a period of one year. It is a legal requirement to have a residence permit, the cost of obtaining the residence permit is included in your school fees paid to the University. 
•  Please note that the International Programs Office of the university will be providing the necessary assistance to facilitate the acquisition of the card.

Ghana uses the UK’s BS 1363 standard for plugs and sockets. This uses the 3-pin system and has a voltage of 240 volts. Kindly take note of this when bringing any electrical appliances, especially chargers for mobile phones.
