As part of our program, XSI organizes a scheduled culture and tourism trips across the beautiful and historical tourist sites in Ghana for visiting international students. This is an optional side attraction XSI organizes to promote cultural exchange and the opportunity for students to have lasting memories alongside their academic activities. Some of the famous tourist activities and historic sites includes the Elmina and Cape Coast Castles which is known for its association with slave trade, Assin Manso River site( where our ancestors had their last bath, Kwame Nkrumah Museum, Kakum national park with the canopy walk, Menhyia Palace(Asante Kingdom); the prestigious palace of the Ashanti Kingdom, naming ceremony initiation ceremonies and many more.
NOTE: This comes with an extra cost of $700 which Comprises of ticket to the tourist sites, visit to the palace, hotel fee, food, drinks, transportations, beautiful kente sash with embroidered name eg.( A male born on Saturday will be names(Kwame).
